Skål International Perth hosts Christmas Dinner at Empire Bar
Skål International Perth will be hosting a special Christmas Dinner in December – @ Empire Bar, open to all people in the travel and tourism industry in WA or those visiting the state.
Lunch will take place on Thursday 8th December from 12:00pm and will include a two course meal and a drink on arrival.
Tickets are available HERE and costs from $89 for guests, $75 for Skål International members and $49 for Young Skål members.
Brand USA Hosts Native American Webinar

Brand USA will host an Agent Webinar with the American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association on November 30 at 10:00 AM AEDT / 12:00 PM NZDT.
Attendees will learn more about the experiences of Native Americans in the United States during Native American History Month during an hour-long update that includes a comprehensive destination and product overview from representatives of the American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association, as well as a resource update from Brand USA FROM AMERICA.

A&K Announces Agent Survey Award Winner

Tracy of U Can Go Travel in Maroochydore was at the airport to board a flight to Hawaii when she received word that she had won a $500 prepaid Visa card from Abercrombie & Kent’s recent agent survey.
Abercrombie & Kent’s survey sought to find out how agents view their brand and products and how they can better help them grow their A&K business. Everyone who took the survey entered the drawing to win a $500 prepaid Visa card.
TravelManagers come to Vegas for the Signature conference

TravelManagers’ Chief Operations Officer and Operations Manager (Grant Campbell and Troy Coelho, respectively) recently attended Signature Travel Network’s annual conference, which brought together more than 2,000 global delegates and representatives from more than 540 providers at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
The three-day event, held as TravelManagers approaches the first anniversary of its partnership with the luxury travel brand, included a two-day supplier fair, thought-provoking presentations from keynote speakers and opportunities for Campbell and Coelho to hold private meetings with key members of Signature’s senior management team , including Signature President and CEO Alex Sharpe and Vice President of Member Engagement Kimberly Waters.
The theme of Signature’s annual conference was ‘Together’ which coincidentally or fortunately mirrored the theme of TravelManagers’ annual national conference held in Sydney in September.
Regent Seven Seas celebrates with the Art Gallery of NSW

The Art Gallery Society of NSW’s end of year celebrations took place over the weekend, with proud partner Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) sponsoring the event.
Regent’s senior management team joined 270 guests who gathered in the Art Gallery for the evening, with one lucky guest winning a gourmet lunch for four on board Seven Seas Explorerand a ship tour when she docks in Sydney for the first time on December 29th.
Virtuoso moderates On Tour events

Last week, Virtuoso hosted On Tour events in Sydney on November 8th; Gold Coast on November 9; and Melbourne on November 10, where 18 of their luxury ocean, river and expedition cruise partners were introduced to over 350 advisors by Virtuoso.
Virtuoso also ventured across the moat to New Zealand to connect with advisors and preferred partners at a Virtuoso Connects event in Auckland on Monday 14th November.
This series concludes Virtuoso’s robust schedule of events for the year, which included 17 in-person events across Australia and New Zealand. These constructive events enabled over 26,000 connections between advisors and preferred partners, including events in Adelaide and Auckland for the first time since the pandemic.
A-ROSA team celebrates at SENA

Last weekend, all A-ROSA employees at the Rostock (Germany), Chur (Switzerland) and Cardiff (UK) branches were invited to an employee event on board the new ship A-HIS ROSE.
Over 130 employees took part in the three-day trip from Cologne to Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Various workshops and an interactive ship tour were held on board, where colleagues could network and make contacts. Highlights of the trip included the Saturday night gala dinner and various entertaining guest artists.
