Castries, St Lucia: St. Lucia has received the prestigious Gold Statuette for Best Honeymoon Destination at the 8th Annual Travvy Awards – Caribbean.
The Deputy Prime Minister and the Department of Tourism, Investment, Culture and Creative Industries of St. Lucia expressed their delight at receiving the prestigious gold statuette.
The annual Travvy Awards took place on November 3, 2022, Wednesday. With the award, the travel consultants vote for the best in the travel industry. The awards ceremony took place at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale marine. To recognize the highest standards of excellence in the travel industry by recognizing travel companies, travel products, travel agencies and destinations for their spectacular achievements.
In addition to this accolade, St. Lucia was named the Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination and Caribbean’s Leading Adventure Destination in September.
The country was also nominated for the following:
- World’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination 2022
- World’s #1 Honeymoon Destination 2022
- The leading island in the world target 2022
- World’s Leading Wedding Destination 2022
- The most romantic travel destination in the world 2022
Jade Mountain was also recognized as one of the Best, taking home Silver for Best Luxury Hotel/Resort – Caribbean and Bronze for Best Honeymoon Hotel/Resort – Caribbean.
