Saint Lucia has received the prestigious Gold Statuette for Best Honeymoon Destination in the Caribbean at the 8th Annual Travvy Awards.
The annual Travvy Awards, where travel consultants vote on the best in travel, were held on Wednesday, November 3, 2022 at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina to recognize the highest standards of excellence in the travel industry by honoring travel companies, travel products, travel agencies and destinations for their excellence.
Thousands of votes were cast and the industry came together. From vendors to consultants and everyone in between, everyone in attendance was there to cheer for one another as their peers and peers were recognized for their groundbreaking and innovative journeys.
These winners were honored during a gala dinner and presentation attended by finalists, industry leaders and travel professionals from around the world.

Jade Mountain was also recognized as one of the Best, taking home Silver for Best Luxury Hotel/Resort – Caribbean and Bronze for Best Honeymoon Hotel/Resort – Caribbean.
“It is an honor to be named the winner of the Travvy Awards, as our victory was determined by those who know us best: travel consultants,” said Lorine Charles-St. Jules, CEO of the St. Lucia Tourism Board.
“These awards are a testament to the high quality of St. Lucia’s offerings and our commitment to promote the destination as a premier Caribbean tourist attraction for global travel audiences.”
