Aiming to promote Maharashtra as an adventure tourism destination among aspiring Indian travelers, Maharashtra Tourism is bringing an exclusive 12 episode travel show to Travelxp.
The series showcases unexplored travel destinations and exciting activities the state has to offer. The exclusive show will air from April 30, 2022 at 20:00 on the Travelxp TV channel network and OTT platform.
Divided into eight episodes and four mini-episodes, the series is scheduled for each weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at 8 p.m. The eight full-length episodes and four mini-episodes last 30 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively.
The strategic association will allow Maharashtra Tourism to showcase its unexplored destinations and attract a wider audience to experience adventure tourism within the state.
Maharashtra is well known for its stunning ethereal mountains, babbling river streams and wild tides where various adventure activities like trekking, paragliding, snorkeling and parasailing etc. take place. This, combined with the welcoming and inclusive culture, has resulted in the state being one of the most appealing adventure destinations in the country.
Building on that recognition and following the resurgence of travel, Maharashtra Tourism is now looking to leverage that growth and attract a larger audience to experience adventure tourism within the state.
On the show, international TV presenter Reanne Brown finally fulfills her dream of visiting Maharashtra when she meets leading Indian actress and presenter Krissann Barretto, who introduces her to two things: her hometown of Maharashtra and her undying love of road trips!
From trekking the Kalsubai Peak, the highest point in Maharashtra, to enjoying delicious home-cooked Kolhapuri cuisine. From bungee jumping in Kusgaon, Pune to relaxing on Guhagar beach, the show captures the fearless duo as they leave no stone unturned to rediscover the exciting adventure experiences that Maharashtra has to offer.
The show also features various unexplored adventure experiences in stunning places like Shri Kopeshwar Temple, Melghat Wildlife Sanctuary, Daulatabad Fort, Safari Zone of Tadoba National Park, etc.
Tourism Secretary Valsa Nair Singh says: “There is huge potential for adventure tourism in the state. Through important partnerships like these, we seek to inspire aspiring travelers across the country to experience the state’s uncharted adventure destinations. This collaboration with Travelxp showcases Maharashtra in an unprecedented way.”
Altaf Ladak, Regional Head, Sales, Travelxp 4K HD, says: “We are excited to bring Maharashtra’s adventure offerings to aspiring travelers across the country through the power of 4K HDR content. At a time when travel is reviving, this strategic association will allow Travelxp to position Maharashtra as one of the most attractive adventure destinations for tourists.”
