It has an altitude of 9,278 ft and is filled with breathtaking views of the Kangra valley and the snow-capped Dhauladhar ranges. The base village for this trek is Dharamkot. Triund is the ideal destination for those seeking easy yet beautiful trekking in the Himalayas. The trek can easily be during weekends.

Best time to visit
It is not advised to trek here in monsoon seasons which are in July and August, and the winters of January and February. Apart from these months and seasons, the Triund trek can be done anytime around the year. The spring and summer seasons which are the months from March to June have the most favorable weather conditions for trekking. The post-monsoon season is ideal for capturing the clearest and best views of the mountain peaks.
3.Kheerganga Trek
Kheerganga is located at an height of 3050 meters and at the edge of Parvati Valley. Kasol Kheerganga trek is easily one of the most sought-after destinations for trekking. In Parvati Valley it’s considered to be heavenly.
Kasol Kheerganga trek is a beginner level trek and can be covered easily. There are less steep stretches and is very easy to trek. You would want to dip in the hot water streams. There are numerous beautiful waterfalls which you can enjoy on the route.

As you walk along the banks of River Beas, you also enjoy the beautiful views of ranges like Pir Panjal and Dhundi & Bakarthach meadows. As you climb upwards you will arrive at the originating point or source of the River, which is a glacial lake. Beas Kund is called so, because, according to its legends it was the bathing site for Rishi Vyas, who is known to be the author of Mahabharata. This is a beginner-friendly trek.
5.Bhirgu Lake Trek
It is located at an altitude of 14,000 ft. Bhrigu Lake trek will gives you the absolute high. This is a special Himalayan trek where you get to see so many things in just two days. The best time to do trek is during May-June and it is one of the nicest summer treks in Himachal Pradesh. Trails of this trek can be a little steep and difficult for beginners.
